Educateurs sans Frontieres Assembly (EsF) - Mexico

The Educateurs sans Frontières Assembly is a unique two-week retreat for an international group of people who support children and families to flourish in all kinds of communities, by applying Montessori principles both within formal education and within the community.

The 7th Educateurs sans Frontières (EsF) Assembly will be held in the beautiful mountain town Tepoztlán in collaboration with Montessori México. The EsF Assembly will bring together a group of maximum 100 people to explore how Montessori programmes can serve diverse communities around the world. The first week will focus on the link between the mind and hand, as equally important tools to cultivate and refine. The second week will focus on how to apply Montessori principles and engage community in order to bring about change on both a local and global level.

EsF Initiatives include:

  • At risk and under-served populations – poverty, refugees, prisons
  • Remote and Indigenous communities
  • Public education
  • Initiatives for adolescents
  • First years of life
  • Preparation and support for parenthood
  • Inclusive education
