Dr. Steven Hughes is a paediatric neuropsychologist with over twentyyears of professional experience. A long-term advocated for Montessori education (anda Montessori parent), he has spoken to groups all over the world about braindevelopment, diagnosis and treatment of learning and attention problems, andenvironmental conditions (at home, school and work) that support the optimal growthof higher-order cognitive skills. Dr. Hughes spent over a decade on the faculty of theUniversity of Minnesota Medical School and is past president of the American Academyof Pediatric Neuropsychology. Dr. Hughes was the founding chair of AMI’s GlobalResearch Committee and is currently a member of the AMI and AMS Researchcommittees. He is based in Prague, Czech Republic.
