Director of Quality Management and Planning

Elizabeth Goor has been involved in Montessori Education in Wollongong since 1986. She came to Montessori through her three children. Two of them are Montessori Directors, and she has three grandchildren attending Elonera Montessori.

Her early background was in Health Services Management; Planning, Research and Development; Quality Assurance; Adult Education and Wollongong Council Community  Services in Respite/Aged Care. Elizabeth worked in Canada initially as a Dietitian/ Nutritionist. Her move to education coincided with her introduction to the Montessori Method of Education. She was Elonera's first Head of School and was instrumental in the development of a school that started with one classroom to evolve into a school that offers all stages in Montessori education including the Adolescent program and the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Elizabeth has a Dietetics degree, a Masters in Health Planning, a Masters in Total Quality Management, a Diploma of Secondary Science Education, and a Certificate III in Early Childhood and was previously on the Montessori Australia Foundation board.
