The Gap Cubbyhouse Montessori (TGCM) is a 95 place family-owned child care centre. We engage a holistic approach using our partnership with families to support the children's learning through Montessori. Our passionate team have built a strong rapport with all families and children as we believe in preparing the children for life. We come from a range of backgrounds and bring a diverse strengths and experience to the centre.

About the role
As Early Childhood Teacher and an advocate for Montessori Education, you will be responsible for Cycle One Kindergarten Classroom of children aged between 2.5 to 5 years old. This includes:
- develop and maintain meaningful relationships and partnerships with children, families and fellow team members
- being a strategic thinker who can support and communicate in partnership with all stakeholders the vision of Cubbyhouse Montessori
- being knowledgeable and experienced implementing best practices in Montessori and an awareness of contemporary education
- create strong alliances and relationships with the community and surrounding networks
- support room educators in their Montessori journey
- understand and interpret the relevant industry regulations and legislation, including, NQS, EYLF and QKLG and the Montessori philosophy
- driven to provide an exceptional quality Kindergarten programme
- ensure that the room presentation is maintained to the highest standard.
Qualifications and experience
- An ACECQA recognised degree in Education (Early Childhood)
- Recognised Montessori qualifications (ideal)
- Experience within the Early Childhood sector
- Experience in a Montessori setting
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Working with Children Check
- A strong inclusive team member
- Ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
- Articulate well verbally and in writing
