Montessori Whole School Refresher

The Montessori Whole School Refresher provides Montessori educators and administrators, professional development and network opportunities in a whole school approach. Schools are encouraged to reserve these dates as professional development days so that all staff may attend.

The theme of this year’s Montessori Whole School Refresher is “Montessori for Everyone”. Anticipating nearly 200 delegates, this is the premier event for Montessori pedagogical professional development. The Refresher will open with a plenary session, followed by separate workshops for each educator level.

The workshops this year are:

0-3 - Sarah Moudry "Building Community"
3-6 - Sara Werner Andrews "Exploration and Self-Construction"
6-12 - Jamie Rue "Freedom and Responsibility without Chaos and Penalty"
Adolescents - James Moudry & Jan Gaffney "Serving Teens" and "Montessori for Every Adolescent"
Administrators - Nick Stocco & James Moudry "School Leadership Boot Camp: A Case Study Approach"
Assistants (Friday only) - Kay Urquhart "Practical Workshop for Montessori Assistants"

Join us for the refresher reception on Friday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm for a party to celebrate 10 years of the Montessori Australia Foundation - food, drinks and live music!
