Montessori Public School Forum
The forum presents a unique opportunity for educators working
in (or interested in developing) public Montessori programmes,
to come together to share insights and experiences.
Building on the work of the first Public School Forum, we will look at how we can continue to support Montessori Pedagogy and Practice in Public School Settings.
Participants will explore areas of pedagogy, practice and administration as they relate to the development and delivery of public Montessori programmes. Facilitated sessions will include short question-raising presentations from participants, and expand to group discussions. Montessori trainers will be available to answer questions.
There will be an opportunity to tour the Montessori Adolescent Programme at Templestowe College as well as the wider school setting.
We ask that all participants come ready and willing to share their insights and experiences, successes and challenges.
Participant outcomes:
• Insight into key Montessori principles for 3-6, 6-12, 12-18
• Apply Montessori principles into practice within the context of public education
• Examine key issues and explore solutions for implementation challenges
• Connect with Montessori educators and leaders working in the public education sector.
