The Meeting in the Middle (MiM) Adolescent Programme Forum aims to provide participants with the opportunity to augment, empower and engage their learning at an individual and collective level.

It has been 4 years since The Hills Montessori created this inspiring event for adults working in Montessori adolescent environments to learn and share together and we have since built on these connections and further strengthened our unique community. Elonera Montessori School are so excited to welcome you to this year’s Meeting in the Middle in Wollongong, especially as it coincides with the 30th Anniversary of the school! We are delighted to welcome you to join our “place” between the mountains and the sea. It is our pleasure to be hosting you for a long weekend and hope to give you the opportunity to meet and spend time with your colleagues in our work with these “humanistic explorers”.
The theme will be, “What does it look like?” with the intention to focus on the nuts and bolts of how we structure and present our adolescent programmes in the spirit of sharing and learning from each other. After hearing feedback from past participants and others in the community, we hope to facilitate rich and meaningful discussions, as well as enjoyable experiences – memories that we hope you will take back home to your own adolescent communities.
The forum schedule includes:
Thursday, 7 September
4:30pm - 6:00pm Drinks and nibbles, followed by transport to accommodation
Friday, 8 September
9:00am - 5:00pm Forum Sessions
6:30pm Out and about in Wollongong (not included in Registration fee)
Saturday, 9 September
9:00am - 5:00pm Forum Sessions
6:30pm Drinks and MiM Dinner
Sunday, 10 September
9:30am - 12:30pm Forum Sessions
