Meeting in the Middle

A central gathering of educators working in (or working seriously towards) Montessori Adolescent Programs across the region, this weekend is intended to be relevant, enjoyable and affordable.The forum will again take place at Montessori International College, Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Participants will briefly revisit central principles guiding our work with young adolescents in Montessori middle years programs. They will explore the underlying structures and working processes that support these principles, particularly through the lenses of specific learning areas. Facilitated sessions will include short question-raising presentations from participants, and expandto group discussions.

We ask that all participants come ready and willing to share their insights and experiences, successes and challenges.

Following feedback from participants, the 2015 forum will be extended to span three days to allow time for participants to collaborate and work on material together with a view to coming away with resources.

The forum will take place at the new Montessori International College campus, 10 minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport and 30 minutes from Noosa. Affordable air-conditioned accommodation and transport to and from the school will be available.
