Adolescent Programme Forum: Meeting in the Middle
The Meeting in the Middle (MiM) aims to provide participants with the opportunity to augment, empower and engage their learning at an individual and collective level. Underpinning the event is a recognition and reverence for the diverse contexts of our adolescent programs.
The 2016 Adolescent Programme Forum will provide educators working in (or seriously working towards) Montessori Adolescent Programmes in Australia and the wider region, with a valued opportunity to come together. The forum provides a space to share and examine practice and reflect upon the underlying structures and working processes that support the work with young adolescents in Montessori middle years programmes.
Participant outcomes:
• Apply Montessori theory and principles to practice in the work with young people in Montessori Adolescent Programmes
• Examine key issues and explore best practice in Montessori and middle school education
• Connect with Montessori adolescent practitioners and community leaders engaged in the work with adolescents
• Shared insights, strategies, practices and resources
