Montessori Assistants Induction Course

For a new assistant stepping into a Montessori classroom with no training can be confusing and a little daunting. There are so many fascinating and mysterious materials that call out to be handled, and also many unspoken rules and expectations that can be challenging to grasp for the uninitiated.

A successful working partnership between the adults in a classroom can make for a more positive and productive learning environment for students, not to mention better staff retention! However lead teachers who are occupied with setting up their classroom may not have time to initiate a new assistant to all of the nebulous nuances of what makes a Montessori learning environment function smoothly.
