About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Montessori Centre Director to join our passionate team in Hoppers Crossing on a permanent full-time basis.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage the day to day operations of the Centre in line with company policies and procedures
  • Lead, support and motivate a large team of educators 
  • Manage rosters using our time and attendance system
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, parents, children and the wider community
  • Guide educators to best practice (overseeing and supporting the Educational Leader's role across the service)
  • Oversee expectation of Centre presentation internal/external play spaces
  • Promote and market the service to increase utilisation, viability and manage the centre waiting list
  • Monitor all staff interactions to ensure they are in line with the EYLF and Montessori Framework

About You:

Ideally, you will possess the knack to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive culture within our centre, and can relate to individuals of various ages, social and cultural backgrounds.

You must possess the following skills and experience to be considered for the role:

  • ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience directing a centre 
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Sound knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework
  • Current First Aid Certificate/Asthma & Anaphylaxis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan and implement a quality, educational and child based program in line with The Grove Academy standards
  • Strong knowledge of computer skills including Qikkids, CCMS & ISS
  • Experience with Assessment and Rating
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with large teams
  • Experience or AMI Qualification in Montessori is preferred
