Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time IB Physics Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in physics education, experience with the International Baccalaureate program, and a genuine appreciation for the Montessori approach. Your role will involve delivering engaging and impactful physics lessons while seamlessly integrating the Montessori philosophy into your teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering comprehensive IB Physics lessons to students
• Integrating Montessori principles into the curriculum
• Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Guiding students towards independent and critical thinking
• Collaborating with fellow educators and staff members

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent;
• Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate program
• Strong background in physics education
• Genuine affinity for Montessori principles and philosophy
• Current First Aid/CPR Certificate, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training;
• Strong communication skills;
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• Excellent communication, planning and time management skills.
