Montessori International College is seeking a talented and inspirational part time Montessori 3-6 Guide. Teaching experience in a Montessori school setting is beneficial but not essential.
The position would suit a Montessori trained, Early Childhood Teacher seeking to add value to student learning experiences within a contemporary learning context. Our learning programs are guided, inspired, and enriched by the writings of Maria Montessori.
The ideal candidate is an effective classroom practitioner able to work as a part of a highly skilled and passionate teaching team, designing and delivering meaningful learning experiences which support students and colleagues in reaching beyond the ordinary. This candidate is at ease using creative, collaborative, and transdisciplinary approaches to improve learning experiences and student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspiring learning experiences together and support learning outcomes for students aged 3-6 years through well-designed Montessori curriculum and effective teaching pedagogy and practice.
- Establish supportive and trusting relationships with students and parents which ultimately support student performance and wellbeing.
- Develop and manage the resources required to facilitate and support student learning within your learning environment.
- Communicate and interact with all members of the school community and the broader community with sincerity and humility.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create and deliver an exemplary learning program.
Essential Criteria
Current full QCT registration, or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
