Montessori Teacher

IMPS is a small family owned centre and leading provider of Montessori education in the area with an Exceeding rating. We are situated in the Illawarra region close to beaches, lakes and national parks and offer all the facilities that a large city has to offer.

The opportunity:

We currently have a full-time (or negotiated hours) position available for the suitable person to lead the Montessori program in our centre which caters for children from 2-6 years. We are searching for an enthusiastic and passionate educator with interest and experience in Special Needs who is looking for a chance to further their career in Leadership and Management as part of our team.

You will require:

• An Early Childhood Degree or a recognised Diploma approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
• A WWCC (Working with Children Check)
• A relevant, current and approved First Aid Certificate
• Child Protection training and updates or willingness to obtain

• Support the child and work with the parents in an inclusiveenvironment
• Develop nurturing and caring relationships with the childrenbased on respect and trust;
• Have a desire to continue the centre's high standards ofeducation and care through leadership and managementpractices
• Enjoy the experience of supervising and guiding student teachers
