Cameragal Montessori School is an independent school located in Sydney’s lower north shore. We currently offer quality Montessori education to students from Birth to Year 6. Established over 40 years ago the school is strongly grounded in the educational philosophy and principles of Montessori education.
We provide learning based on self-directed activity while respecting the individual needs of each learner.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists to take on a full-time position as a Montessori classroom teacher, teaching the 6-9 age group alongside an experienced and supportive team.
About You
- Montessori trained with a suitable Montessori qualification for ages 6-12
- Passionate about implementing best practice Montessori education
- Focused on working as part of a team
- Positive in approach to teaching in composite classes
- Have Primary Teacher (NESA) Registration or eligible to gain teaching registration in New South Wales for K-6 years
- Energetic with a collaborative approach
- Full Australian working rights, with no restrictions
- You will have a valid Working with Children Check number, a current Child Protection Certificate, a valid First-Aid qualification. The successful candidate will be required to provide certified copies of their qualifications and transcripts prior to their commencement at Cameragal Montessori School.
Salary is determined in accordance with the Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Standard Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021.
