Early Childhood Teacher

Indigo Montessori has an exciting opportunity for passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The position is a full time, Monday-Friday role.  Indigo Montessori are fortunate to have a beautiful and unique service in Broome. This picturesque and coastal town is situated in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, 2,000kms North of Perth. We are looking at recruiting experienced leaders to bring their expertise to our well-established service. Working in a regional service provides a unique experience which is sure foster educators personal and professional repertoire of skills, knowledge and understanding. 

We are seeking high performing Educators, who have the drive to build respectful and reciprocal relationships with children, families and staff, and have ability to room lead to provide high - quality early learning and care for all children within the setting. 

We will contribute to relocation costs in the move to Broome. 

Sponsorship can be offered to a successful candidate if you meet the criteria of working at least 3 years fulltime as a Qualified Educator.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Montessori Diploma Early Childhood 3-6years. OR Bachelor of Early Childhood / Diploma of Teaching / Bachelor in Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification.
  • Understanding of Early Years Learning Framework, Montessori Philosophy and the National Quality Standards.
  • Great personality with a professional manner and appearance.
  • A desire to have a balanced life.
  • Be an inspiring team player and positive role-model.
  • A strong level of communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with staff, children, families and the community.
