Worldwide, there are approximately 22,000 thousand Montessori schools.  In Australia at present there are nearly 300 Montessori schools and centres and the growth in demand for qualified staff still exceeds availability.  Career opportunities exist for degree qualified teachers who also hold a Montessori diploma.
