About our Centre
We are a family owned Montessori Centre educating children 15 months to 6 years. An opportunity exists for a Montessori trained Educator to join our team with many long term Educators in Tingalpa, Brisbane.
Requirements for the role:
- ACECQA recognised Diploma in Education and Care (or working towards).
- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- A recognised Montessori qualification and/or experience.
About the Role:
- Work alongside a collaborative and enthusiastic qualified Montessori team.
- Create an engaging, high quality early childhood program for children 15 months to 5 years that reflects the Montessori philosophy, practice and values of our centre.
- Plan, implement and document an educational program for the individual and group learning of children using both the Montessori philosophy and the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with colleagues, families and community members.
Essential Qualities:
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to Montessori method of teaching, and the continued development of teaching skills and knowledge.
- Skills in planning, implementation and evaluation of an early childhood program.
- Computer skills.
